HELLO...... TODAY IS WEDNESDAY AUGUST 12TH
We are currently good for tonight... see y'all at the beach
Wednesday Players tonight is your regular week 10. playoff info will be posted by Friday... Sadly, if you didn't make the playoffs, tonight will be your last week playing for this year.
There is a calendar themed image on the playoffs page that visually depicts the information below... so let's say you're a visual learner... then go to the playoffs page.. READ BELOW FIRST....
This info could be changed by weather issues tonight.. crazy stuff.
As of today, Tuesday has been cancelled (or canceled) three times. Here is how we will address that. Tuesday 8/18 you will play your week 3 opponent (from the first rain out)... TUESDAY PLAYOFFS WILL START 8/25
Teams may question nerver-before-seen players so NO RINGERS y'all
Coed A was a bit different... since there are only 10 teams in Coed A you would need to play a team twice in a 10 week season, to combat that I scheduled a seeded week to occur week 10 to create separation for playoff seeding purposes. Rainouts occurred so you played your rained out week 3 opponent on Tuesday 8/11. There is no need for a seed separating week so on 8/18 you will play your week 7 rained out opponent.
Wednesday has only had one 7pm rainout... the coed B Wed playoffs will be calculated by winning percentage and start (tentatively) on WED 8/19.
Coed C playoffs will be calculated by winning percentage since they have played a different number of matches. The Coed C playoffs will not start until 8/25 (tentatively).
records are updated... if you have a symbol other than a W in the column you need to see us so we can clear it up.. after this week, ANY TEAM with a symbol gets the loss.....
I have been called "ANGRY MATT" because of the use of caps in my updates/post on this site.. 😖 TOO BAD... LOL
YOUR ROSTERS ARE NOW FINAL... if you sent me an email before 10pm Wednesday July 8th with a roster change it is VALID. Nothing after that.
Our coed rules state that you must have two females on the court at all times. THEY MUST also go through the rotation and serve.... All players MUST go through the rotation, can't take them out BEFORE they serve and re-insert the player after the serve position.
If you went to and played on the wrong court YOU lose.
If you went to and played on the wrong court YOU lose. If you go to the wrong court and beat the ever-living-crap out of your opponent, you STILL LOSE..
Remember, you CAN NOT touch the net during play. Let's say you jump and hit the ball, your arm/hand do not touch the net but your body hits the net as you're landing back on the sand.... that is a FAULT and your side loses that point.
Please have a friendly chat with your opponents before the game starts to agree on what you're level of "rule adherence" you'll be following.
No "chat" and your opponent can and should call any infraction against you.
new addition to rules. if ball hits the pole holding up the net (wood or metal) the point is lost by the team that last touched the ball. this came up for the first time last night and it will now be put on our rules page.

* Make sure you're on the correct court (all are numbered)
* REMAIN CALM - All is well...It's not squid games
