HELLO.................. TODAY is Thursday June 18th..
FYI... we WILL be playing on July 6th and 7th. July 4th events or celebrations will not cause any volleyball cancellations... The last week of the regular season will be August 10th and 11th. Playoffs are currently scheduled for July 17th and 18th. Mother Nature could wreak havoc with this... but we hope not...
If you went to and played on the wrong court YOU lose.
If you went to and played on the wrong court YOU lose. If you go to the wrong court and beat the ever-living-crap out of your opponent, you STILL LOSE..
Two weeks are in the books...
Remember, you CAN NOT touch the net during play. Let's say you jump and hit the ball, your arm/hand do not touch the net but your body hits the net as you're landing back on the sand.... that is a FAULT and your side loses that point. Please have a friendly chat with your opponents before the game starts to agree on what you're level of "rule adherence" you'll be following.
No "chat" and your opponent can and should call any infraction against you.
every team needs to sign consent form BEFORE play... come to the table for paper/pen etc.
new addition to rules. if ball hits the pole holding up the net (wood or metal) the point is lost by the team that last touched the ball. this came up for the first time last night and it will now be put on our rules page.

AND NO, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT PARKING, SAND TEMP, WIND, SEAGULLS... ETC
